Great coffee, excellent service and pastries. Can’t fault the staff that work here. Very friendly and swift service. They know their coffee which is a plus. Every time I come here it’s been an awesome experience. I like the location and the vibe of the precinct adds to the charm of the place. And try a vanilla Berlina, these guys have their donut fillings on point.

Really good ice latte and such lovely ladies working there! Really recommend if you’re close to JCU. Possible to sit both outside and inside the cafe.

When Otto's first moved in, I was like oh cool, glad to have a new place on campus to get coffee. But it has consistently become my favourite place to get food and coffee on campus. I go almost every morning before I go to my office because the coffee is always good and super convenient to order on the phone app. But the staff really sell the whole experience for me. I probably wouldn't keep coming back if Arna, Lauren and Corban weren't so kind and made the experience so nice. Even when I'm acting a fool and send in the wrong order or send it to the wrong place, they're always willing to help me sort it out and always super nice about it. They never have to act like they're interested in my life, but they do and it makes me feel very special. I've been a regular at many coffee places over the years (yeah, I have a problem, but I'm self-aware so that makes it OK, right?) and none have ever made me feel like I really was a customer they looked forward to serving me quite like the team at Ottos do. My only, non-related, complaint is that I want more salads. Let me give you my money with spontaneous salad purchases, please
